Day1 : Chiang Mai – Lamphun - Ban Ta Pa Pao

Met by local guide at Chiang Mai Airport or Chiang Mai Railway Station. Transfer by air-conditioned van to the village,Ban Ta Pa Pao, about 30 kilometers from Chiang Mai. On arrival, welcome by the villagers.

Check-in at the home stay. Hosts inform the guests about the family and the accommodation. Local lunch at the home stay prepared by the hosts. After lunch join the community in their daily activities such s making rice cakes, folding banana leaves etc. followed by the discovery of the village. Visit the village’s temple, the museum and the school. Continue to explore the fascinating community forest with the local guide and learn about medicinal plants and herbs in the forest. Return to the home sty. Relax. Traditional Kantoke diner accompanied by northern style music. Overnight at the homestay.

Day2 : Ban Ta Pa Pao- Lampang

Join your hosts to give morning alms to the monks. Thai breakfast at home stay. Check out. Drive to Lampang. Visit a center for coconut shell product at Hang Chat district. Continue to the Lampang Herb Conservation Assembly. Experience a one hour Thai massage with herbal compress. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, upon the time, visit some local family businesses such as Rice Crackers making Center and Paper Lanterns making center. Continue to Wat Pong Sanuk, which won the Heritage Award of Merit in 2008 from the UNESCO.

Back to the city and boar on a horse carriage to explore Lampang city. Drive to ambient Lampang River Lodge Resort. Check-in. Free time for refreshment. Transfer to down town of Lampang for a Dinner at local restaurant .

Enjoy typical northern style food. Overninght at Lodge.

 Day3 : Lampang – Chiang Mai

Breakfast the hotel. Depart for Thai Elephant Conversation Center. On arrival, short briefing about the conversation activities of the center. Then get on an elephant’s back to enjoy a hour of gentle elephant riding. Stop at the elephant’s hospital. See how sick pr wounded elephants are cured by the veterinary team, follower by the elephant bathing an elephant at work. Transfer to Chiang Mai. On the way visit Ban Ta local market. Arrive in Chiang Mai. Local quick Chiang Mai local restaurant. Transfer t Chiang Mai Airport or Chiang Mai Railway Station.
