Day 1 | Surabaya Arrival – Ketapang / Banyuwangi Dinner
Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport, meet our local guide and begin the overland journey towards Ketapang – Banyuwangi in East Java.
The exact airport meeting time will be arranged according to the confirmed flight schedule of the group.
Arrive at Ketapang Indah or the confirmed hotel. Check in and have dinner.
Overnight in the Ketapang / Banyuwangi area.
Day 2 | Kawah Ijen – Mount Bromo Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
A picnic-style breakfast box may be prepared by the hotel according to the confirmed arrangement.
Early morning: Depart by local vehicle towards the Kawah Ijen area.
Arrive at the designated starting point and begin the walk towards the Ijen crater area. The traditional itinerary allows approximately 90 minutes for the uphill section, although actual walking time depends on individual fitness, trail conditions and current access arrangements.
From the upper area, experience the volcanic landscape of Kawah Ijen. Access to specific areas is always subject to current safety regulations, weather conditions, air quality and instructions from local authorities.
After the visit, walk back towards the starting point and return to the hotel.
Check out and continue by road towards Mount Bromo.
A stop at Madakaripura Waterfall may be arranged if time, weather and operating conditions permit.
Lunch en route.
Arrive in the Mount Bromo area and check in at Bromo Cottage or the confirmed hotel.
Dinner at the hotel and overnight in the Bromo area.
Day 3 | Mount Bromo Sunrise – Surabaya Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
Approximately 03:00: Early-morning departure for the Mount Bromo excursion.
Transfer by local 4WD Jeep towards the Mount Pananjakan viewpoint area for sunrise views, subject to weather conditions and current access arrangements.
After sunrise, descend into the Mount Bromo volcanic area and cross the Sea of Sand.
According to the confirmed local arrangement, continue towards the foot of Mount Bromo. The traditional program includes local horse transportation for part of the route followed by the staircase towards the crater rim.
Horse and Jeep services are subject to the final confirmed package and local operating conditions.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Check out and continue the journey.
Visit the Savannah Grassland when accessible under the confirmed itinerary.
Continue towards Surabaya. Lunch will be arranged en route.
If Madakaripura Waterfall was not visited on Day 2, a visit may be considered today if time, weather and local operating conditions allow.
Arrive in Surabaya and have dinner at a local restaurant.
